Darlo: Today I came down to a bit of a surprise. My sister Viv had bought a bike for me to replace the one I’d recently broken. Though a little worn around the edges and a bit rusty (and no brake-system) we had a bit of a play and here are our pictures. I am happy to say that no lasting injuries were had, though I did get a saddle to the teeth, nadgers, and have a rather nasty blister on my thumb.
Viv: Awww well, it was worth it to see the smile on Darlo’s little face!

dsc02202 Darlo: Well here I am, looking good and about to try riding my new bike. Note the classy design (where the pedals actually do touch the floor when you ride it.
Viv: Hey, don’t knock the design dude!
dsc02203 Darlo: So to start off with, lets get the basics down like how to actually ride this thing. It ain’t that easy at first.
Viv: But very funny to watch :-)
dsc02204 Darlo: But soon I pick it up and look to be having a pretty fun time.
Viv: Yes, you did seem to enjoy it a little too much, our poor neighbours!
dsc02205 Darlo: It was about here that I started to feel pretty comfortable. Not on the seat, which would hard and cruel, but with the way to ride it.
Viv: It was like trying to ride a clown bike, peddling like mad to get to walking speed.
dsc02206 Darlo: Feeling brave, I decide to have a crack at doing a wheely.
Viv: Not easy on 3 inch solid tyres.
